For The Love Of The Bath Tub!

I realize I have not blogged in awhile. Like most of you, the Holidays are consuming my every waking minute, and the last thing I think about is blogging, I should be updating everything we have been doing the past few months, That post is on its way!! But this just had to be shared. Jane, like me, LOVES the tub. Loves is an understatement! She could possibly have 4-5 a day. At times I think I am being sneaky while she is upstairs, and I want a tub, and I start the water for myself, within minutes I can hear her little voice behind me, "tubbies, tubbies, side side" side is inside. I swear she can hear the water starting a mile away. Well here is what happened the last time I told her No while I was in it. She climbed in with me in it, and I was just to late catching her...All I can say is she was super happy and super proud of herself, like she had just accomplished something amazing. Yes Pajamas and ALL!! Oh Janie Girl I love you!!

Fall and Halloween

I'm always happy to get a good picture of Jane and Brady. This one couldn't be better! It was taken on Halloween in my mother in laws back yard. Its a framer I would say!

We went to 2 different pumpkin patches this year, the big one on 90th was my favorite, Kids could be entertained forever there. We have been spending a lot of time with our friends Jeff and Ashley and their son Kaeden, luckily they like to do the same things we do, which is pretty much anything that will entertain our kids. I'm so glad to have them as our friends, A good pair of friends couldn't have come at a better time for Me and Brady. We keep joking that Jane and Kaeden will get married when they are older and these are just pictures for their wedding video! Hope it comes true!
Down at the scarcrow festivle with Ashley and Kaeden..Our best buddies!

We went to the witch festival at Gardner Village with a bunch of our friends and their babies. All who were GIRLS!! Can you say baby/girl overload! So much fun!!

I'm so surprised that Jane sat next to this witch, She usually is so scared of thing like that!
Halloween has always been my favorite holiday, having Jane made it even better. Although getting her into her costume was a fight (she looked so cute it was all worth it) and after she got used to it, she had a blast. She learned how to say Trick-or-Treat, and thought it was the most amazing thing to have candy drop into her bucket after saying it. I thought she would only last a few houses but we ended up going to about 15, and she lasted through it all!! I can't believe how big she has grown just from last year, and how interactive she is with everything, it truly makes everything more fun and most of all memorable.

Summer Catch Up!

This Summer was so fun and so busy. Obviously by my lack of blog post!! I just decided since I'm so behind I will just add some pictures, and some of my favorite things I did over the past few months. Jane has changed SO much over the last few months I can't even believe it, as of today she is 17 months old, and is officially Miss Independent! She no longer sits in high chairs, or on my lap she has to have her own seat, feed herself go up the stairs by herself....etc She is climbing up just about everything she can, she loves to color on almost everything she can! She is saying the cutest things, Peese for everything, and mimics everything I do, from putting make-up on, to shaving my legs! She will give you the biggest open mouth kiss you have ever had!! I am so proud of her, and I can't believe how fast she is learning. Can you tell I am just super whooped over her!! Her are some pictures from over the summer.
We took a little gym class, we absolutely loved it. I wish I could take Jane there every day. She was a totally different kid in the class!
This just has to be documented, and I have to brag.. I do believe I may be the only person to ever get Warren to lay on a blanket!! Good for me!!
She learned to say cheese for the camera, and boy does she smile big while saying cheeeeese!!
One thing Jane learned to do was crawl into the dryer. Talk about panic when you can find you child anywhere. Once again....Cheeeeeeese...........Hi mommy is what I heard when I found her!
The state fair has the cutest thing for kids to do. They dress up in an apron and pretend they are farmers, Jane actually participated, and loved being hands on with everything!
Learned how to climb up on the dinning room table, to find suckers in my diaper bag!!
Jane loves pictures and I found her looking at our wedding album one day, I thought it was so cute to hear her say. Mommy......Daddy......Mommy......Daddy!
One of our many trips to Wheeler Farm. One of our favorite things to do. This trip we went with the cousins Ashton, Chase, and Elliot, clearly out numbered in the Johnson family.
One of MANY trips to the zoo. I bought a zoo pass this year, it could possibly be one of the best purchases I have made as a mom. I highly recommend it.
Another climbing picture. She loves to sit in her toy box and be as close to the toys as possible!!

My Tragic Loss!

The Obituary!!

Tuesday September 15th 2009 marks the sad, sad day where Janes morning nap tragically took its last breath. Janes morning nap was one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I could shower and get things done in the morning from 9-11:00. I remember this one of several memories of the nap where I used to go next door and sit in the hot tub, and sit outside with friends.....No more.....Oh how you will be missed and forever be in my thoughts.....I love you nap.....Rest in Peace, and please come back to visit whenever you would like!!

In lieu of flowers...The mother has requested Pepsi, chocolate, and Aleve

Funeral services have not yet been arranged but will more than likely be held at the zoo!!

Its at a spa called Studio Suites, I'm renting a room there, and get to be my own boss. I'm a little nervous but super excited to back into what I love. I actually need some advice!! I need to name my business, and need some input from everyone, and kind of quick because I'm getting my cards made this week. I'm excited to see what you come up with!! Thanks for the help.

All Good Things Must Come To An End

So it's official. Our house is up for sale. I never realized what a burden it has been to us until I started talking to people about it, and getting their feed back, and lately I have just had this burning feeling to just sale it. I have thought about it for quite awhile, and have been ready to sale, but while I was hanging the signs in the window, I just started crying, and all of these thoughts just started flowing...This is our 1st house, this is where we brought Jane home for the 1st time, all of my friends are here, we were able to get this home on our own at such a young age, and I'm just proud of it, and there are so many memories in just the short 2 years we were here. I don't know why I got so emotional. Even though its hard to change, I just feel for us right now its the best thing. I have an amazing family that has offered to help in any way during our transition, and I am so thankful for them, and their encouragement, they keep reminding me this was a house I only wanted to stay in for a couple of years. Well the couple of years is here I guess!......I keep reminding myself, when one door closes another will soon open!

Bear Lake 2009

We had such a blast on our Bear Lake trip. I love trips where there isn't really a plan and you can do whatever, whenever you want. On our drive up we stopped at my cousins BEAUTIFUL 2500+ acre ranch, You would literally never get bored there, its full of horses, streams, animals, motorcycles, you name it, its amazing. I wish we could have spent more time there, I guess I'll just have to plan a trip just to go there.

I love this picture! Jane had such a blast looking at all the animals from a distance, but when they got close, she would run straight for me and cry

Brady and Wade, Brady loves to shoot and show off his guns!!
Brady on the motorcycle! My cousin Ashley and 2 of her 21 dogs!!
My dad took Jane on this big slide, he thought it would get her to like him more, I think it had the opposite outcome! Jane hates any thing fun, she just likes to sit on the side lines and watch. You can tell by her face that she was mad that we would have her go on it!
Tons of Tennis
Jane hates the pool, she will cry the second her feet hit the water.
She actually got in for about 3 minutes, so I just had to document it
Surprisingly Jane loved the beach, she just sat and played in the sand all afternoon
Janes prize from the parade, she loved these glasses
My Aunt Dana brought her Kayaks, Brady loved them, He wants to get into shape to kayak across the entire lake next year
Being on a trip, Jane didn't get her naps. She was so tired in the afternoon she would literally just crash when she hit her stroller. She was so tired in this picture she didn't even hold her bottle. She figured out how to prop it herself.

That Little Stinker

For those of you who know I have a job for my neighborhood that requires a lot of time on the computer. I leave Janer up in the kitchen area with her toys so she is entertained while I do some work. She has always had a fascination with the garbage can (don't ask me why). Today she was playing really well for a long period of time, I could hear her keep saying "Uh O" and kind of giggling over and over again, I went to see what was so funny This is what I found in my garbage can, in a 10 minute time frame! Good thing I found it all. Can you say....Time for a garbage can with a lid!!! I thought this was pretty funny and needed to be shared!

(I believe my missing binky was thrown away, What do you think?)

Our Pantry Mouse!

One of the rules in our house is keep the pantry door closed, because there is nothing more entertaining than canned goods and tupperware right. Well sometimes that rules doesn't always get followed, as I have shown in earlier posts. Jane is such a good baby, she is quiet and will just follow me around the house, I can accomplish almost anything I need to when we are home. That is why when she is silent I don't really think much of it. She is either reading a book or crawling up and down our stairs. Well the last few times of silence with the pantry door open this is what I found. A little pantry mouse enjoying the one thing we don't ever let her have "chips". As you can tell by her face she was so proud of herself!!

Happy Anniversary

Happy anniversary to my wonderful husband. It really has been an amazing 4 years. Brady is an amazing husband, I couldn't ask for a better guy! He works SO hard for me and Jane, and makes it so I am able to stay home with her, and I am so beyond grateful for that. He is constantly making me laugh, with his sense of humor, anyone who know him knows what I'm talking about! Happy anniversary Brady! Thank you for being an amazing husband, and giving me (us) our Sern Globby Girl, and being an amazing father to her! I hope we have many many more years like the few we just celebrated! I love you Happy Anniversary

Dancing

Jane has just started to dance to any type of music she hears, even if it isn't that upbeat. She just bounces up and down with her feet close together, I still laugh every time I watch her do it.

Binky-Holics Anonymous

They say the only way to help yourself and get over an addiction is to 1st admit that you have an addiction, then go from there! Well I have a BIG binky addiction, that I wish would go away. I am obsessed with buying cute binky's for Jane, every time I'm at the store I go to the baby aisle just to see if they have any new designs I can add to my collection of 20....Wow I know! I have never really been the OCD type, until I had Jane it seems. I have never lost anything of Janes not a bottle, a burp cloth, toy, bow, even socks most importantly a binky, I would be OK to loose any of those items accept for the binkys. Whenever I leave someones house I do a quick check of the diaper bag to make sure everything is there and if not, I search until I find it, (probably looking like a frantic freak). Well that all came to a tragic end this week when I lined up all my binkys for the nightly check...yes I said nightly check, and noticed I was missing one. I have searched high and low, and it is no where to be found, I have pulled apart cushions, toy boxes, drawers, literally everywhere, and I can't find it. I never thought loosing something would be so devastating, and give me the biggest migraine for days you could ever imagine. I can't stop thinking about it, and I am so close to tears over a stupid binky. I need serious help with this OCD/addiction issue, I don't want to be this way, I'm sick of being so OCD, but I cant seem to cure it, or ever stop thinking about it. What do I do.....HELP!!

Happy 1st Birthday Baby Jane!

Where does the time go? It doesn't seem like 1 year ago that I saw my sweet baby girl for the 1st time. When I look back at everything there is so much to reflect on, and so many memories. that this fast year actually seems like so long. I have loved every minute of being a mom, and am so lucky to be with Jane everyday. Everyday Jane changes so much and it's hard for me to think that she can get any cuter, but some how everyday she does. I am so looking forward to the changes and memories we get this year and the years to come! We had an awesome party for her, we are so lucky to have so many friends and family that love and spoil Jane, and constantly support us. Happy birthday baby girl, we love you more than you'll could ever know!

Jane was so spoiled with so many toys, and the cutest clothes!

"its my party and I can cry if I want to" It wouldn't be a 1st birthday with out a crying picture.

My favorite part of the party was the Giant Cup Cake! Have you ever seen anything so cute? I was pretty pround of my creation!!

Jane is the typicall dainty girl, she does not like to get dirty, or have anything sticky on her hands. I thought she would go to town on her cake, but she was so un sure about it. She just sat there touching it, then wiping the frosting on her side to get it off her hands. That was more entertaining than watching her get all messy!

Have you ever seen a cleaner baby after eating their 1st birthday cake?

1 Year Birthday Pictures

I haven't been the best with taking pictures of Jane, I don't know why but I just figure my little point and shoot camera will do. I've always wanted to a few really good black and white pictures of Jane framed in my house, and think about it every time I walk into one of my friends houses, and see all the cute family photos! So I figured for Janes 1st birthday its the perfect time to get started. Brady and my Dad took these and they did a really good job. I absolutely love these pictures. I wish I could post all of them but, I figured I would just choose a few of my favorites.

Seriously, Why Do I Buy Toys?

I love buying new toys for Jane, I actually think I buy them more for me than her. I always scout out KSL and try and find cute new cheap toys. Lately they sit in the corner of my living room, while she finds other things to entertain her, apparently feminine hygiene products, tupperware, and canned food are WAY more entertaining. I guess I just need to buy those cabinet locks and force her to play with her toys! Who would have thought?

Happy Easter

Holidays are so much more fun with babies, I loved getting Jane all dressed up, and watching her hunt for eggs was the best. She even figured out how to put them into her own bucket (she's a genius I know!) Taking her and showing her off to our families was the best part of the day. All of the pictures of Jane her eyes were squinting, she has such sensitive eyes, even the littlest amount of sun hurts them.

Baby Proofing

I thought I had my house pretty baby proof. I have the glass serving bowls moved to the top shelves, I put the garbage cans up out of reach, moved all the chemicals, and cleaning brushes out of the bathroom, close the toilet lids, I pick up all the tiny bits off the floor, so on and so on. Never did I think to move this.......Why do people never tell you the little things to baby proof? Anything else I should baby proof? Please pass the info along!

From infant to toddler in 7 days!

This last week was such a crazy week. My sister Courtney and her husband went on a cruise, and asked if I would watch her 4 kids while she was away. Will (9) Whitney (6) Harrison (4) Claire(1) and I also had Jane. Her kids are so awesome, and super busy. School, dance, tumbling, baseball, basketball.....so on and so on. It wasn't as bad as everyone thinks it would be, her kids are really easy, and really helpful with the babies. All I can say is I have a huge respect for mothers with twins (Kaysie) or, babies that are really close together. When we first got there Jane had only just learned how to crawl, and was still struggling with it, by day 2 of being there she was crusin around chasing Claire, next thing I know she copied Claire and pulled herself up to the fire place, and was soooo proud of herself. She found 1 of Claires little cars you can ride on, and pulled herself up to that. So I decided just to put her on to take a little ride, she absolutly loved it, she hung on all by herself, started scooting around with her feet. She loved being around Claire, and having a little buddy all the time, she was entertained, I'm afraid she is going to be super bored at my house now. It was so crazy to me how much she changed in such a little amount of time. It makes me sad that I pretty much have a toddler now, where did the time go? I love it though, when they are active it just makes the day go by so much faster, and they are kind of more enjoyable! Thanks Claire for teaching Jane all your tricks!

Jane loved this car and horse she lit up everytime she saw it
3 best buds striking a pose

Jane sat under Claire everytime she ate and picked up her crumbs, it was pretty funny
